The Associazione Artigiani Bergamo , founded in May in 1945 is an organisation of small and medium and craft companies. It is non political, independent and no-profit. It has more than 14.000 members and it is the biggest service company in the province of Bergamo. The Associazione Artigiani offers a wide range of services to assist enterprises in the solution of everyday problems. Anyway, the main object is to represent the general interests of small and craft companies in front of any local, national and international institutions and authorities.

At a regional level the organisation has joined Confartigianato Lombardia and at national level Confartigianato. The national Confartigianato includes 119 local organisations and 20 regional bodies. It represents 1.200 local offices and 521.000 small companies. At an international level Confartigianato has joined UEAPME, the European organisation of small companies located in Brussels.
